Questions about DWG to PDF
Which DWG versions work?
Drawings saved in AutoCAD 2004 format or newer (up to the current format). Files saved in the AutoCAD 2000 format or older cannot be read in a browser; save them again as a newer DWG, or as DXF and use DXF to PDF.
Does it print the Model or the Layout?
It draws everything in Model space and fits it to the paper. Layouts (paper space) with viewports are not drawn.
Is the PDF sharp when I zoom in?
Yes. Lines, circles and text are drawn as vectors, so the PDF stays sharp at any zoom.
Is my drawing uploaded?
No. It is read inside your browser. The DWG reader (LibreDWG, GPL licence) is downloaded once (about 11 MB).
